The House
Daisy Mulan was founded on a simple belief: that fine jewelry should be as meaningful as it is beautiful.
We began with a single bench and a small number of clients who wanted pieces that could not be bought anywhere else. That is still how we work — in small numbers, for people we know by name.
We chose private consultations over an open shop floor because the pieces deserve time. An appointment is unhurried, and nothing is shown to anyone else while you are in it.

The Four-Petal Motif
The four-petal motif is the mark of the house — a daisy reduced to its simplest geometry.
The motif was drawn for a single commission and kept. It appears now as a clasp, a gallery detail and, on the pieces we make to order, a hidden petal set beneath the stone.
Every Daisy Mulan piece carries the motif somewhere. On many it is visible only to the person wearing it.

Our Craft
From the first sketch to the final polish, each piece passes through the hands of artisans who have spent decades perfecting their craft.
We hand set every stone and inspect every setting. Nothing leaves the workshop until it has been checked under magnification by a second pair of eyes.
Recycled gold and platinum wherever possible, and certified stones with full documentation on origin, cut and colour grade.

By Appointment
An appointment with the house is a conversation first — about the occasion, the wearer and the stone.
Pieces are presented privately, by video and one client at a time. There is no counter and no queue — only the pieces you asked to see, and time to consider them.
Every piece is covered by lifetime cleaning, inspection and resizing, with insured collection and return.
The Mark
The motif is drawn as a single continuous line — four petals that never lift from the page. It is the reason the house is called what it is, and the reason a Daisy Mulan clasp is recognisable from across a room.
On made-to-order pieces a fifth petal is set beneath the stone, where only the wearer will ever see it.
At the Bench
Every commission starts as a pencil drawing, sized to the hand or the neck it is made for. Nothing is modelled until the drawing is right.
Stones are selected loose and one at a time, graded for colour and cut before they are matched to the setting.
The mount is built around the stone rather than the stone dropped into a mount. Each seat is cut by hand under magnification.
Polished, checked by a second setter, and only then hallmarked and boxed. Anything that does not pass goes back to the bench.
The Metals
Recycled gold and platinum wherever it can be sourced. Any piece can be commissioned in any of these.
The house default for yellow diamond and the Cross.
Cool and quiet. Set most often with white diamond.
Warm copper tone that softens against the skin.
The densest of the four, and the most secure setting.
Yellow, white and rose, on the pieces that carry length.
Offered on the Loves bracelet alone.
Aftercare
Send the piece in and it is cleaned and re-polished, then returned to you insured.
Settings are checked under magnification once a year, at no cost.
Rings are resized for the life of the piece, whenever the hand changes.
Origin, cut and colour grade, issued with the piece and reissued on request.
